Please adhere to the following guidelines as closely as possible to facilitate the editorial and production process.

Case Studies

Case studies should be written from the physicians point view and be about 1500-2000 words, with tables or figures as needed and a list of selected references. These articles should be accompanied by commentary on the case by team members (eg, nurse, pharmacist, surgeon), highlighting their specific roles in the treatment of the patient. Each commentary should be about 300-500.

Business Management

Business management articles should highlight the practical implications of current treatment options. As such, the article should discuss one or more of the latest therapies/devices, with emphasis on information that community oncology centers can use to implement these treatments either in-house or through partnerships for their patients.

Health Economics

Health economics articles should relate to the economics of health and medical care, such as the demand and utilization of health services, the financing of health services, and manpower planning. These articles also may focus on legislative matter that effect the delivery of and reimbursement for health services.

Manuscript

Please use AMA style. Content should be medically accurate and reflect fair balance. Manuscript will be peer reviewed for accuracy and balance, then edited for sense, style, and layout. Manuscript should be saved as a Microsoft Word document, version 6.0 or higher. Cover page should contain title and authors, including complete degree/title/affiliation and contact information for each author. Drug names should be complete and generic-brand names may be used in first mention only but may be edited out according to the journal style. Dosages should be included. Abbreviations/acronyms should be spelled out at first mention.

Word Count (not including references, tables/figures)

Review articles should be approximately 1500-2000 words of text, plus 2-3 figures/tables. Cite all tables/figures in text. Provide brief captions.

References

Complete reference list is required, with references cited in text and number in the order cited. Use AMA style. Try not to exceed 35 references for a review article. Recent references are preferred. Please do not insert automatic footnotes or end notes.

Figures (charts, graphs, pictures, etc) Cite in text. Provide as separate documents, using jpeg or eps format. Please provide succinct captions and legend containing source if any and acronyms spelled out.

Tables

Cite in text. Provide as separate documents, in a Word Table format. Please provide a succinct title for each table.

Photographs

Black and white or color photographs, professional quality. If electronic file, no less than 300 dpi when 3 inches in width.

Complete manuscripts (containing title, authors, figures, tables, references) should be submitted via email to dawn@greenhillhc.com. Per journal policy, authors will be required to complete and sign copyright release forms and financial disclosure statements (if CE accredited). Any questions regarding these guidelines should be referred to the Editor.
